To remain competitive in the internet era, companies must adapt or undergo a digital transformation to create an efficient, optimized, and transparent digital ecosystem. Do I need to mention that the benefits of digitalization are huge? Obviously, No!

This is something Arch. J.P. Espino has successfully done for her business. Architect JP, The Digital Architect, recognized the need to go digital early on. She started with this journey six years ago, when an unfortunate event forced her to explore the realms of the online freelance platforms. Back then, as an OFW, she was having a problem with her then employer. She was forced to look for other means of income, where she discovered freelancing jobs, where she learned to leverage her skills. It started with a $5 salary, that turned into a full-time career and made her earn thousands of dollars while working in the comforts of her home.

Online freelancing has also paved the way to more challenging projects, such as; Church of St. David Garthbrengy in England, the Hermes Retail Shops in Canada, the Science University in South Africa. Before these, she also has notable projects during her stint abroad. Some of her significant projects are the redevelopments of (Istana Nurul Iman Redevelopment, Alai Quuddus Residence Design, and Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital. As an architect, we can say she already has a lot of experience under her belt. It is undeniable that she has expertise in her craft, but what is commendable about her is that she doesn't stop there.

She now teaches her digital marketing strategies to Architects, so more and more architects can attract their clients and thus lifting the profession and the industry as a whole. The Digital Architect Workshop has been requested all over the Philippines. The workshop has attracted students and professionals alike. Architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, interior designers have been benefiting from the lessons she unselfishly taught to those who attended her workshops.

Companies today, from freelancers to billion-dollar corporations, must live and breathe a brand that embraces its digital presence with as much attention to detail as the physical presence of the company. Of course, that means your outward marketing materials, but also includes operations, such as the speed and process to onboard clients and how you handle back end business and other related matters. These are just some of the information that Arch. JP shares on her The Digital Architect page. Get to know more about her professional journey and advocacies on the upcoming Buildeee Prostalk, Live Q&A Session With Industry Experts.
